At Interlogica we say it often, and we really mean it. Since 2020 we have been a fully remote company: everyone at Interlogica works remotely, always, from wherever they prefer. It is not just a habit: it is written into an addendum to the employment contract.

Remote work was already in place for several of our colleagues. We did not expect to extend it, suddenly, to the whole company. The first lockdown forced us to, and showed us something: our organization, made of agile, self-organizing teams, worked at a distance too. So since 2020 Interlogica has been a fully remote company in every sense.
We have offices in Venice, Milan and Pordenone, and we use coworking spaces wherever needed. They are not where we go to work. They are where a team meets when it decides that working in the same room is worth the trip.
Since 2020 all our job interviews have taken place remotely. On your first day a courier delivers a pre-configured laptop, together with an Interlogica T-shirt, pen and mug. You connect it to the network and onboarding begins: within a few hours you are part of your team and working on a project.
Working remotely does not mean not knowing each other. Since late 2024 we have been running Dev Quests, coding challenges that “shuffle the deck”: they bring together people from different teams to build something new. A couple of times a year we all meet at Interlogica’s plenary meetings. And we open our doors to anyone curious about our ecosystem, with events open to everyone such as Code in the Dark, the contest we brought to Italy in 2018. We are preparing the next edition.
Remote by choice, together when it matters
We know that, in many cases, working together in person is truly valuable. That is why we choose to meet, rather than make it mandatory.
