IoT to Executive.

From the sensor to insight, to people. A connected object is worth the decisions it helps to make: we build the software that carries its data all the way to the people who decide.

We do not make devices. We design and build the platform that connects them to your systems and your people, working with the hardware makers and with your company’s domain experts.

The path

From the field to people, in four steps

IoT to Executive is the path that takes a piece of data from a physical object to information that is useful to decision makers. We design it as a single chain: if one link is weak, the others stop too.

  1. 01

    Field

Sensors and devices collect telemetry and, when needed, act on machines, buildings, vehicles.

  2. 02

    Edge

A first round of processing close to the source: less latency, less bandwidth and immediate reactions where waiting is not an option.

  3. 03

    Cloud

Where data is collected, cleaned and stored. A project that starts as a pilot can grow by orders of magnitude: the architecture has to cope.

  4. 04

    People

KPIs, dashboards and alerts for whoever has to act, from the maintenance technician to management. This is where data becomes insight.

IoT can be compared to mining, if we draw a parallel between bits and atoms, between information and matter. In both cases it is about extracting the raw material, channelling it, separating it into its components, analysing it, transforming it and so obtaining its real value.

Before the sensor, the problem

An IoT project starts from the business.

IoT is often seen as a technology to apply. The best results come from looking at the whole picture: that is why, before choosing a sensor, we answer four questions with you.

Where is value created?

We connect the data from objects to the value chain and estimate the return before investing.

What changes for people?

New data is only useful if someone uses it: we rethink processes together with the people who live them every day.

Where do we start?

We choose a small, measurable pilot that tells us early on whether we are on the right track.

How does it grow?

A modular architecture that integrates with the systems you already have and is ready to scale.

How we build it

Start small. Test. Scale up.

01

Proof of concept

Rapid prototyping: we check that the data can be collected and that it really tells us something.

02

Pilot

Working software on a limited scope, inside real operations.

03

Rollout

The modules integrate with the company’s systems and the platform goes into production, ready to grow.

We work in an agile way: frequent releases, retrospectives, decisions based on the pilot’s data rather than on forecasts.

Connected products

New opportunities, new rules.

From product to service

When a product transmits data, its maker can also sell what the product does: predictive maintenance, pay per use, value-added services. This is servitization: the intelligence layer becomes a business model.

Requirements to design in, not to chase

  • Data Act · Regulation (EU) 2023/2854

Since 12 September 2025, users of a connected product have the right to access the data it generates. Products placed on the market after 12 September 2026 must make that data accessible by design.

  • Cyber Resilience Act · Regulation (EU) 2024/2847

Since 11 September 2026, manufacturers of products with digital elements must report actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe incidents. From 11 December 2027 the security requirements apply throughout the product’s life cycle.

That is why data access, updates and vulnerability handling are part of the architecture from day one, not the day before a deadline.

Where we have done it

Some projects

  • Smart Office · 2017

Software that detects and shows in real time, also through a mobile app, how spaces are used in large offices: desks and meeting rooms, and with them electricity, air-conditioning and heating consumption.

  • 4Energy · 2019

A web platform that measures, collects and analyses energy consumption and integrates with IoT devices in the field: configurable KPIs, baseline comparison, efficiency actions by groups of sites.
